about

Standing in front of the Kuhlmann Memorial in Ecumenopolis’ Founders Square, Nalanie reckons with the fact that her own father founded this bustling metropolis more than 10 000 years ago.

As Ozymandias pontificates on the narrative implications of the fact one’s father not only left you for the stars, but also gave birth to a whole new world in the future; leaving you Nalanie to dwell in the past, a pickpocket suddenly surges out of the shadows and takes off with the Captain’s quantum purse. Always quick on his feet, Krøgorlön chases the scoundrel down the labyrinthine alleys of the megapolis.

Unbeknownst to them, this fateful encounter is all part of the plan of the mysterious Frédéric Huang, of the Black Comets.

What wretched web of intrigues have our adventures gotten tangled into? Will they find their way in the alien world?
Will tomorrow bring a better future?

Find out in Ecumenopolis.

Part 2:

“Always on time just like your father. I know how to send you home. But first, I have a job for you. Interested?” The words of Frederic Huang still echo in Nalanie’s mind.
This fateful encounter was brought forth by Krogorlon’s reckless disregard for Eunomian traffic regulations in his pursuit of the thief.
It was a high-octane race, full of close encounters of the angry alien kind in the uncanny alleys of Data Grove, stolen rides on maglev trams under Shell Beach‘s artificial twilight, leap-frogging electric-sheeps among the partying masses of Club 5555 and a free fall down the filthy bowels of Molochstrasse.
It was all a carefully orchestrated test of resolve, for the amusement of Frederic Huang!
What is this job?
Did he really know Nalanie’s father?
Is he a friend, a foe or simply a fucker?
Find out in the next episode!
